A 2-Hour After-Dark Experience

Step inside Key West’s historic 1907 firehouse for a two-part paranormal experience: a 45-minute immersive AudioPhonic™ ghost tour followed by 75 minutes to investigate the station yourself.

Part 1: The AudioPhonic™ Tour

Explore Old Station No. 3 in the dark, guided by flashlight as true stories, atmospheric sound, music, and cinematic effects bring the firehouse’s haunted history to life around you.

The 45-minute AudioPhonic™ experience was created and narrated by Key West’s paranormal pioneer David L. Sloan, author of Ghosts of Key West, and introduces you to the history, hauntings, mysteries, and personalities connected to the station.

It’s less like listening to a traditional audio tour and more like stepping inside a ghost story.

Part 2: The Investigation

When the tour ends, the headphones come off, the lights stay down, and the investigation begins.

Using red flashlights and real paranormal investigation equipment, you’ll have 75 minutes to explore the museum at your own pace and see what you can uncover.

Investigate reported activity connected to former firefighters, mysterious figures, unexplained voices, and some of Key West’s most intriguing stories, including the disappearance of former Fire Chief Bum Farto and the murder of Charlotte Knowles.

You Become the Investigator

  • Explore at Your Own Pace: Decide where to investigate, how long to stay, and which locations deserve a closer look.
  • Equipment Provided: Experiment with spirit boxes, thermal equipment, trigger objects, dowsing rods, pendulums, and other paranormal investigation tools.
  • Capture Your Own Evidence: Take photos, record EVP sessions, and document anything unusual you experience.
