Marco Island Private Fishing, Shelling & Eco Tour
4 Hours • Three Ten Thousand Islands Adventures in One
What to Expect
Experience three of the best ways to explore Marco Island and the Ten Thousand Islands in one private 4-hour adventure. This combination tour brings together backwater fishing, remote island shelling, and eco and wildlife exploration for groups who want to experience a little of everything.
Your experienced local captain takes you through the mangrove-lined waterways, bays, tidal creeks, and islands surrounding Marco Island. Along the way, watch for Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, manatees, shorebirds, and other native wildlife while learning about the unique coastal environment of the Ten Thousand Islands.
Spend part of your trip fishing the backwaters, where your captain selects locations and techniques based on tides, weather, season, water conditions, and current fish activity. Depending on conditions, you may target snook, redfish, spotted seatrout, snapper, sheepshead, and other inshore species.
Then trade the fishing rods for a shell bag and go ashore on a remote beach or natural barrier island when conditions allow. Explore the shoreline at your own pace, beachcomb for shells, and enjoy an undeveloped part of Southwest Florida accessible only by boat.
Because this is a private combination tour, your captain can adjust the experience based on your group’s interests and the conditions that day. More time can be spent fishing, shelling, exploring, or watching wildlife when conditions allow.
Fishing licenses, rods, reels, bait, and tackle are included. Specific fish, shell finds, wildlife sightings, destinations, and conditions cannot be guaranteed.
Reel Kind has been exploring the waters around Marco Island and the Ten Thousand Islands since 2003, bringing decades of local knowledge to every adventure.
