Join us at the magical Big Lagoon State park, a hidden oasis with SO much to explore on its calm, protected, CLEAR, SALTY GULF waters! This special place serves as the gateway for the Great Florida Birding Trail and is truly a hidden gem close to Gulf Shores Alabama and located just a short drive from the Gulf State Park and Orange Beach Alabama.

This is a new and exciting location effective Fall 2026! Tours on "Little Lagoon" are now by special request only, but our new location is WAY better so unless you are staying in Fort Morgan, we recommend sticking with this new location! I mean, just check out that awesome photo above of us paddling with "Fred" the Great Blue Heron, everyone's favorite Gulf Coast bird and the calm clear waters of this special place!

Glide through the calm, protected channels and inlets of Big Lagoon State Park on high-quality stand up paddle boards while taking in the sounds and sites of local wildlife such as herons, osprey, pelicans, rays, and even the occasional dolphin. This site offers MORE wildlife viewing than our location at the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge and we are BEYOND EXCITED to share this special place with you!

With over 12 years of teaching paddle boarding from the shores of Hawaii to the beautiful Gulf Coast, our tours are sure to delight guests of all ages and skill levels. Our new location is the perfect place for beginners and experienced alike. You will be a paddling pro in no time!

The experience combines a beach lesson, guided in-water tour and SUP coaching so most guests are standing up quickly, experienced paddlers will also learn some new tips and tricks to gain more confidence on the water.

The new launch site offers clearer Gulf waters, shaded picnic areas, restrooms and abundant wildlife—perfect for families, couples and solo paddlers seeking peaceful time on the water. There are even swimming beaches and shaded areas so guests who do not want to paddle can enjoy the peace and quiet of the park while watching their friends and family from the shore!!
