📋 REQUIREMENTS to Rent Our Boats:

• Must be 21 years of age to rent a boat from us.
• Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, must have a Boating Safety Education ID Card to legally operate a boat in Florida.

A boating license from another state is valid in Florida if it's approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA)

Obtain Your Boater Education ID:

• Option 1: Boating Safety ID Card (Lifetime)
  BoatU.S. Foundation offers a [Boating Safety Course] (https://courses.boatus.org/course/id/BTUS100S) FREE (Online)

• Option 2: Temporary Certificate (TC) (Valid for 90 days)
  This can be completed online in about 30 minutes for as little as $8.99.

⚠️ Operating Area Restrictions

All rentals are restricted to approved inshore waters only.

Approved Areas: Charlotte Harbor, Peace River, Myakka River, Harbour Heights, Burnt Store Marina area, Placida area, Gasparilla Island (Boca Grande), Cayo Costa Island, Cabbage Key Island, and the Bokeelia area (northern portion of Pine Island only).

Prohibited Areas: Offshore (Gulf) waters, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, and southern Pine Island (including St. James City).

Operation of the vessel in any prohibited area will result in a $1,000 fee and may result in additional charges, termination of the rental, and/or loss of the security deposit.

👨‍✈ Hire a captain for your boat rental:

All our boats are offered without a captain, but you are welcome to hire an independent USCG licensed captain if you prefer not to operate the boat yourself. You may choose a captain you already know, or we can provide you with a list of local licensed captains. Captains are not employees or agents of Boat Rental Seekers, and all arrangements and payments are made directly between you and the captain.

📍Boat Delivery and Drop-Off:

We provide 2 delivery methods:

1. Regular Delivery: $0 (No-additional-cost)
The boat will be dropped off at Laishley Park Boat Ramp. It is a public boat ramp, and there is a nearby free parking lot.

2. Private Home Delivery: $75 (delivery and pickup)
Only available for multi-day rentals.
Must be within a 6-mile radius of Laishley Park Boat Ramp and at a waterfront or dockside residence.

Optional Rental Insurance:

We offer an affordable optional rental insurance to give you extra peace of mind during your trip. You’ll be able to review and purchase or decline this coverage after completing your booking.
