Embark on an unforgettable underwater adventure as we take you to some of the most stunning reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park! Our trips visit a variety of world-famous dive and snorkel sites, including Molasses Reef, Elbow Reef, French Reef, and the iconic Christ of the Abyss at Dry Rocks.
These protected reef sites are part of the third-largest living coral reef system in the world and the only living coral barrier reef in the United States. As you explore, keep an eye out for sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels, and a vibrant array of tropical fish that call these reefs home.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not guarantee any specific dive or snorkel site on our trips, and full-face masks are not permitted for safety reasons.
Snorkelers & Boat Riders – Join the Fun!
Not a diver? No problem! Whether you prefer to snorkel alongside the reef or relax on the sun deck, you’ll still be part of the adventure. Our reefs range from 20 to 45 feet deep, with high-profile coral formations bringing the marine life within 5 to 15 feet of the surface—perfect for snorkelers to enjoy the beauty of the underwater world up close.
Important Safety Requirement:
- All snorkelers and divers must know how to swim.
- Full face masks are not permitted - potential risks such as carbon dioxide buildup and difficulty removing the mask in an emergency, potentially leading to disorientation or even fatalities

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Trip Protection Policy
nStandard Cancellation Policy (Without Trip Protection)
nIf you declined optional Trip Protection, cancellation requests made within 24 hours of departure for any reason outside of Pirates Cove Watersports’ control are non-refundable, and payment in full will be charged to the credit card on file. This policy applies to cancellations due to, but not limited to:
n• Illness or injury
n• Travel delays, including air travel interruptions
n• Weather conditions
n• Personal or other emergencies
Requests to reschedule a reservation within 24 hours of departure will be treated as a cancellation and new booking and will be subject to our standard 24-hour cancellation policy.
nTrip Protection Policy (Optional Purchase)
nIf you purchased optional Trip Protection, you may request a cancellation or change up to 4 hours before the scheduled tour start time for any reason.
n• Cancellations made between 24 hours and 4 hours before the tour start time will receive a refund, less the cost of Trip Protection and associated fees.
n• Cancellations made within 4 hours of the tour start time are non-refundable, and all fees will be due in full.
n• If purchased, Trip Protection and associated fees are non-refundable.
nOperator Cancellations:
nIn the event that Pirates Cove Watersports must cancel the tour for any reason, guests will receive a full refund, including the cost of optional Trip Protection, if selected.
