What to Expect

Launch from PADL Amelia & Talbot Islands and explore one of Northeast Florida’s most beautiful coastal landscapes on a guided paddle through Simpson Creek. Choose a kayak or paddleboard and wind your way through expansive salt marshes surrounded by the protected beauty of the Talbot Islands State Parks and Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve.

Led by our experienced local guides, you’ll discover the waterways, wildlife, and hidden corners that make this area so special. Keep an eye out for dolphins, rays, herons, egrets, ospreys, bald eagles, jumping mullet, and other marine life and coastal birds that thrive throughout the marsh.

Along the way, your guide will share local knowledge about the salt marsh ecosystem, native wildlife, tides, and the natural history of the Talbot Islands. With sweeping marsh views, maritime hammocks, winding tidal creeks, and incredible opportunities for wildlife encounters and photos, there’s something new to discover around every bend.
