What to Expect
Our Advanced Trail Ride offers a more active horseback experience through NFS Ranch. Depending on rider ability, horse suitability, footing, weather, and trail conditions, the ride may include opportunities to walk, trot, and lope/canter.
For everyone's safety, the guide will determine the appropriate pace throughout the ride. Riders may be asked to demonstrate basic control before faster riding is allowed.
Your experience includes:
A horse selected for your riding ability
Basic safety and riding instructions
A private, guided ranch trail ride
Scenic views of our working Florida ranch
Advanced Rider Requirements:
• Riders must be experienced and able to confidently control a horse independently.
• Riders should be comfortable steering, stopping, trotting, and loping/cantering.
• Faster riding is not guaranteed and is always determined by the guide based on safety and conditions.
• Riders must follow all guide instructions throughout the ride.
Days Available: Tuesday–Sunday
Typical Times: 8:00 AM–11:00 AM and 4:00 PM–6:00 PM, depending on weather and seasonal conditions. No Monday rides and no Sunday evening rides.
Duration: Approximately 1 hour
Price: $125 per person
Capacity: Up to 6 riders per group
Age Restrictions: Ages 10+
Restrictions
Rider Restrictions:
• No pregnant riders
• Maximum rider weight is 250 lbs
• No double riding — one rider per horse
• Riders must be in good physical health and able to safely mount, dismount, balance in the saddle, and control their horse
• NFS Ranch reserves the right to move a rider to a standard trail ride or decline participation if we determine the advanced ride is not a safe fit

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
n• Rescheduling within 24 hours of your ride will result in a $40 rescheduling fee
n• Cancellations made within 12 hours of your scheduled ride will be charged the full ride amount
n• A deposit is required to officially reserve your ride
