Fall 2026 Schedule
Let's Go Fishing! – Wednesday, September 30 | 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Learn the basics of how to fish from the shoreline of the Marine Discovery Center campus, MDC will supply the fishing equipment, bait, and instruction for this event. Wear sun-appropriate clothing. This program meets at MDC's main entrance.
Marine Science Center Tour – Monday, October 19 | 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Come join us on a trip to Ponce Inlet for a behind the scenes tour of Volusia County’s bird and sea turtle hospital at the Marine Science Center. This hospital is where a variety of injured birds and different species of sea turtles are brought by citizens and local officials to receive needed medical assistance. Carpooling from MDC is encouraged. Location of the event is 100 Lighthouse Drive, Ponce Inlet.
If for any unforeseen reason the workshop has to be cancelled we will contact you by email so please be sure to include your email during registration.
