Night Dive and Snorkel Trip

Have You Seen The Reef At Night?

Come out with us for a night snorkel and dive with us aboard our comfortable 45ft catamaran, the Kokomo Cat II.  Our night snorkel and dive trips are 3 hours in length.  The trip out to the reef, located roughly 7 miles off-shore, will take approximately 30-40 minutes.  Once at the reef, your Captain will select a site at the reef and you will have roughly an hour and a half in the water.  For our divers, you will have 2 tanks available for your dive.  You can go on one 90min long dive or choose to do a pair of 40-45min dives if you like.  Our reef is designated as a Special Protected Area within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and because of this you will find an astonishing amount of sealife.  We have Dolphins, Sea Turtles, Stingrays, Eaglerays, Sharks, Morey Eels, Lobster, Crabs, and just about every type of Caribean fish you can imagine on the reef.

Night Trip: Check-in at 6:00pm and return approximately 9:00pm

We have a cooler on board for customer use, so feel free to bring your own drinks (no alcoholic beverages please) and snacks and we'll keep 'em cold for you.

We strive to limit the amount of trash that enters our beautiful waters, so no glass or styrofoam

Looe Key Reef, named after HMS Looe which ran aground on the reef and sank in 1744, is a protected reef contained within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.  The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary is the only barrier coral reef in North America and the third-largest coral barrier reef in the world.  The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, designated in 1990, is the ninth national marine sanctuary to be established in a system that comprises 13 sanctuaries and two marine national monuments.
