What to Expect
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age 10 years old
- Must be able to swim
- Must be able to float or tread water
In the SSI Basic Diver program, you will learn the skills and knowledge you need to try diving up to 40 Feet deep with an SSI Professional. It is a great way to explore the underwater world more fully as you try diving. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Dive programs within 6 months, so you can take the next step in your dive adventure.
Our Basic Diver experience typically run everyday. If you would like to learn more about a private course (additional fees may apply) that may be scheduled around your visit, please contact us.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Reschedule Policy
nDue to limited availability, no refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the course start date. For cancellations made greater than 7 days prior to the course start date, a 50% refund may be issued for the course. Dive courses may be rescheduled to a future date at no cost (subject to boat trip and instructor availability). In the event of inclement weather, alternate open water training sites may be used for student training in leu of Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary. Any courses not rescheduled and completed with a year of the original booking date are subject to cancellation without refund.
nAll boat trips are weather dependent. We take the safety and satisfaction of our customers very seriously and will not go out in conditions we deem unsafe or borderline. Due to the inability to predict the weather conditions ahead of time (trust us, we would if we could!) there is never a guarantee that trips will be available. In order to cover fuel and crew costs, there is a minimum number of customers required per trip.
