What to Expect

Are You Ready for a Deep Wreck Dive?

Come join us on a dive on the Adolphus Busch wreck. Our wreck trips are diver only trips giving our diving customers ample room on our 45ft Catamaran, the Kokomo Cat II.

The Adolphus Busch was a cargo ship that was sunk as an artificial reef and dive site. The ship was launched December 20th, 1950. She sailed under a number of names during her career before she was wrecked at Port-au-Prince on September 24th, 1998 under the name Ocean Alley.

The wreck was bought by August Adolphus Busch IV (yes, the beer guy) and named after his great-grandfather, Adolphus Busch. He had the ship stripped out and arranged for its sinking as an artificial reef to help preserve marine habitat here in the Florida Keys. The ship was sunk on December 5th, 1998.

We have a cooler on board for customer use, so feel free to bring your own drinks (no alcoholic beverages please) and snacks and we'll keep 'em cold for you.

We strive to limit the amount of trash that enters our beautiful waters, so no glass or styrofoam
