Ash Scattering
Multiple services & accommodations
What to Expect
Come aboard the spacious and comfortable Lady Stuart I and set off on a cruise to a location 3 miles off shore. There, your group can conduct a short memorial service for the deceased and our staff will assist you in scattering the ashes from the boat. The total time for our standard ash scattering charter is 2 hours. At the end of the trip, we will give you a burial certificate stating your loved one's name, date of the scattering, and exact latitude and longitude of the ceremony.
If you are unable to go out to sea, one of our captains will take the cremated remains offshore and and conduct an ash scattering service scatter for you. We will then send you an ash scattering certificate stating your loved one's name, date of the scattering, and exact latitude and longitude of the ash scattering.

Cancellation Policy
This is Florida, so a little rain is part of the adventure! We do not cancel trips for rain. We will only cancel if there are hazardous sea conditions or severe weather advisories. If you have any concerns about the weather on the day of your trip, feel free to call and we’ll give you an honest update on the conditions.
nYou have until 15 days prior to your trip to cancel your charter and receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $60 cancellation fee. After that date, you will forfeit your deposit if you cancel your charter for anything other than hazardous seas.
nIn the event that the trip needs to be canceled due to hazardous seas, we will notify you the day before or by that morning and we will promptly refund your deposit. Or we can move the charter to a different date at your request.
