4 Hour Bareboat Charter

4-Hour standard estimated total: $1,595

Pricing shown is for groups of up to 6 people. Additional vessel rental charges may apply for larger groups and will be shown when you select your group size during booking.

Your charter consists of three separate cost components:

Vessel Rental, 4 Hours — $1,195
Covers your reservation and use of Off Script for the 4-hour charter period.

Independent Captain, 4 Hours — Estimated $200
The vessel owner’s insurance requires a properly credentialed USCG captain. Captain services are separate from the vessel rental.

After booking, you will receive a separate email from [email protected] where you can review available captains, including their profiles, contact information, and indicated availability, and independently select the captain you wish to engage.

You may also provide a qualified captain of your own choosing. Your captain may upload their credentials directly to HireYourCaptain.com for review and submission to the vessel’s insurance carrier for approval.

You may pay your selected captain directly or elect to prepay the estimated captain expense for convenience.

Fuel, 4 Hours — Estimated $200
The standard 4 hour fuel estimate is based on approximately 10 gallons per hour at $5 per gallon.

Fuel surcharges may apply to reflect current market fuel costs per gallon. Any applicable surcharge will be shown at the time of booking.

Fuel charges are based on actual vessel usage and may be reconciled as applicable.

Captain and fuel expenses are separate from the vessel rental.

Group Size

Off Script can accommodate a charter party of up to 13 people. For the most comfortable experience, we recommend groups of 10 or fewer.

Additional vessel rental charges may apply for groups of more than 6 to reflect increased vessel utilization and wear. Any applicable adjustment will be clearly shown when you select your group size during booking.

This experience is offered as a bareboat charter. You assume temporary possession and control of the vessel for the charter period and independently select and engage your captain.

Customary captain gratuity is not included.

  • If the captain determines conditions are unsafe to operate, the charter will be considered weather-canceled.

If a weather cancellation is declared by the captain:

  • If rescheduling is not mutually possible, charter fees paid to the vessel owner will be refunded.

Vessel Unavailability

In the rare event the vessel becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure or other unforeseen circumstances:

  • If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund of charter fees paid will be issued.
