Itinerary
As a bareboat charter, your time aboard Breaking Away is entirely yours to design. The charterer determines the preferred route and pace for the day and may collaborate with an independently selected captain familiar with local waterways and wind conditions.
Sail Tampa Bay or Sarasota’s coastline, anchor near Shell Key, enjoy dolphin sightings, or simply cruise under canvas with the Gulf breeze filling the sails.

Private Vessel Charter
6 Hours – $1,649
8 Hours – $1,999
Recommended maximum: 8 guests for optimal comfort and sailing performance.
This experience is offered as a bareboat charter. The charterer assumes temporary possession and control of the vessel for the duration of the charter period.
A qualified, properly licensed captain may be selected and contracted separately by the charterer. Fuel usage is calculated based on actual consumption.

Weather Determination

nFor this charter, the captain will make the final determination on the morning of the charter based on actual marine conditions and forecasts.

- Light rain or overcast conditions do not typically constitute grounds for cancellation. n
- If the captain determines conditions are unsafe to operate, the charter will be considered weather-canceled. n
If a weather cancellation is declared by the captain:

- The parties will first attempt to reschedule the charter. n
- If rescheduling is not mutually possible, charter fees paid to the vessel owner will be refunded. n
Vessel Unavailability
nIn the rare event the vessel becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure or other unforeseen circumstances:
