Oh the sandbars!! The Florida Keys have some of the prettiest sandbars you will ever lay eyes on. Key West Coastal Charters visits all of the "famous" sandbars and all of the "off the beaten path" sandbars as well. It all depends on the weather and what you want from your trip!
3 hour sandbar trips are a "stay and play" type trip (one sandbar stop). We will venture out to the nicest sandbar for the days conditions and set up shop! Personal floats, snorkel gear and sandbar games and a cooler with ice and water (byob) are included and you may add a paddleboard for a small charge. You can laze away the day away or explore, snorkel, float, and shell.
Our 4, 5 and 6 hour sandbar trips can be a "stay and play" or a "hop." If you choose to hop we will visit more than one sandbar and if you choose the Stay and Play we will set up at the best sandbar for the days conditions and explore, critter hunt, search for shells and relax. Personal floats, snorkel gear, sandbar games and cooler with ice and water will be included. You may bring whatever you would like to eat or drink (including alcohol) and a paddleboard and/or water hammock are available to add on at a small charge.
-All snorkeling will be done at the sandbar. If you you would like reef snorkeling please see the Combo trip.

Key West and the Florida Keys is home to many sandbars. If you have a particular sandbar in mind, I will do my absolute best to accommodate your wish, however, weather and wind may make one better than another and I will choose the best sandbar for the conditions so your trip is amazing!

Cancellation Policy

- Cancellations, by client, of a booked, private charter 5 days prior to departure will be refunded their deposit in full and will not be charged. Per Person charters will be refunded the total paid. n
- Cancellations, by client, of a booked private charter LESS than 5 days but more than 24 hours before departure will forfeit the total deposit paid and will not be further charged. Per Person charters will be refunded the total paid LESS a 20% deposit. **If I am able to rebook your spot, I will refund your deposit. n
- NO SHOWS and booked trips cancelled with 24 hours or less of departure will be charged IN FULL!!! No refunds of any kind or for any reason, will be made for a no show or same day cancellations. This is a non negotiable policy. n
- If a customer cancels for weather at the dock, regardless of the advice of the captain, it will be treated as a no show. No refund of deposit/total will be made and you will be charged in full. (I assure you, I am honest about weather, I don’t want to go in bad weather either, however, you must have faith in me) n
- If KWCC cancels for weather, you will be refunded any deposit and/or total and will not be charged. n
