An Unforgettable Animal Experience for Students
Bring your students to Hope & Joy Sanctuary for a hands-on, educational, and memorable experience where they can connect with animals, learn about their care, and enjoy time exploring the sanctuary.
Our field trips are designed to make learning fun while giving students opportunities to see and interact with some truly amazing animals.

🐾 What’s Included
Welcome introduction
1-hour guided animal experience
Up-close experiences with select animal ambassadors
Hands-on interaction with designated animals
Age-appropriate animal education, fun facts, and stories
Time to explore the farm and visit our barnyard animals
Opportunities for photos and memorable animal connections
Farm play areas
Picnic area for lunch or snacks
Restrooms and handwashing stations

🦥 Meet Some of Our Animal Ambassadors
Depending on the day, students may have the opportunity to meet animals such as:
Sloth • Capybara • Otter • Kangaroo • Porcupine • Marmoset • Fennec Fox • and more!
Animal participation may vary based on weather, health, behavior, and the animals' daily needs. The wellbeing of our animals always comes first.

🌾 Farm Friends & Barnyard Time
Students will also have time to enjoy the farm and meet some of our friendly barnyard animals.
They can explore, learn about animal care, and interact with designated animals in a fun and relaxed farm environment.

💲 Field Trip Pricing
$15 per person
Students, teachers, and chaperones receive the same $15 field trip rate.
Optional Add-On
🐐 Animal Feed Buckets — $10 each
Feed buckets can be shared among students and used to feed designated farm animals during the visit.

👩‍🏫 Group Information
Field trip sessions are designed for groups of up to 25 students.
Have more than 25 students? No problem! Please call or email us. We are happy to discuss special arrangements for larger school and educational groups.
We recommend approximately 1 teacher/chaperone for every 10 students.
Field trips are available for:
Schools
Preschools
Homeschool groups
Special-needs programs
Youth organizations
Educational and community groups

⏰ Available Field Trip Times
Monday–Friday by reservation
Morning Session: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Midday Session: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Please plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.

💳 Reservations & Payment
Advance reservations are required so we can prepare for your group and provide the best possible experience.
Schools & Organizations:
We understand that schools and organizations have different payment procedures. Groups may pay together, pay on the day of the visit, or request an invoice when needed.
Homeschool Groups:
Families may register and pay individually, making it easy to organize a homeschool field trip without one person having to collect everyone's payments.

🍎 What to Bring
We recommend bringing:
Lunch and/or snacks if you plan to use our picnic area
Water bottles
Closed-toe shoes
Sunscreen
Weather-appropriate clothing
🌦️ Florida weather can be unpredictable! If weather conditions make your scheduled field trip unsafe or impractical, we will work with your group to reschedule.
