Manatee Encounters

Citrus County allows passive interaction with manatees, meaning you can float and allow the manatee to come right up to you! Manatees coming right to you is a common occurrence and will happen. We do our manatee tour responsibly. We do not harass or corral these majestic creatures during these tours; we are just blessed to have a blue water spring with a constant water temperature where they congregate during winter! You do not have to swim with them to see them but are more than welcome to. Wetsuit and Mask rentals can be accommodated, but we recommend your own gear for comfort.
