The Private Sunset Kayak Tour will give you a front-row seat of a stunning Florida Gulf Coast sunset. We will paddle about 3 miles at a relaxed pace over 2.5 hours, visiting coastal mangroves and a beautiful sandbar or beach to stretch our legs. While the sunset is the main draw of this tour, wildlife viewing is always on our agenda! Our guides are careful not to disturb the natural behaviors of wildlife and we are often rewarded with breathtaking wildlife encounters!

On the private version of the Sunset Kayak Tour, we offer several premium enhancements to elevate your experience. You'll enjoy flexible start times, a personalized pace, and a dedicated guide focused solely on your group’s interests- whether it’s wildlife photography, a romantic paddle, a team-building adventure, or an educational outing for the group. We can also tailor your route to include more time at the sandbar or a secluded beach stop, making your adventure truly one-of-a-kind. You also have the option to add bottled water, sparkling drinks, cold towels, and optional photo packages to your private tour.

Led by expert naturalists and certified instructors, this excursion is Ideal for friends, families, couples, and business groups seeking a unique and unforgettable paddling experience. Adults and children 12+ at any experience level are welcome to join this tour. A lesson and all top-of-the-line paddling and safety equipment are provided so that all are comfortable, safe, and happy on the water. First-time paddlers are always welcome! There are restrooms and plenty of parking at the meet-up location.

Tip: Single kayaks offer more independence, where each person can really learn how to move their own kayak around. Single kayaks are best for individuals who are at least 12 years old. Tandem kayaks offer more of a team adventure, where the two people have to work together to maneuver the kayak (easier than it sounds!). Inexperienced paddlers can opt to paddle a tandem kayak with a more experienced paddler. Whichever you decide, we will have you feeling very comfortable out on the water - we are well trained and have newbies out with us all the time!
