• 8-Passenger Gas Golf Cart: Keep up to 8 people together in one cart. Our quality Yamaha and E-Z-GO gas-powered models provide strong, dependable performance for carrying a full group of adults within the cart’s seating and weight limits.

For larger parties, reserve additional carts so everyone has a designated seat.

This is a self-guided golf cart rental. An eligible member of your party drives the cart.

Gas and Electric Cart Options

Available cart models and power types are shown when booking.

• Electric options: Enjoy quiet operation and smooth cruising with zero tailpipe emissions. Features vary by model.
• 8-passenger gas carts: Yamaha and E-Z-GO models offer dependable gas-powered performance and plenty of power for larger groups, without the need for battery charging.

For longer electric rentals, ask about our free exchange for a fully charged cart when your battery reaches 25%.

What to Know Before You Rent

• Minimum age: Renters and drivers must be at least 21 years old.
• Driver’s license: All drivers must have a valid driver’s license.
• Auto insurance: Bring your current auto-insurance information. Your auto insurance serves as the primary insurance for the rental.
• Passenger capacity: Stay within your selected cart’s 4-, 6-, or 8-person capacity, including the driver.
• Rear-seat weight limit: The rear-facing seat has a maximum combined passenger weight capacity of 400 pounds. Please book an additional cart if your group cannot be seated within this limit.
• Children: Include every child in your passenger count. Contact the shop before booking if you need help planning seating or appropriate child restraints.
• Street use: Drive only on approved roads with posted speed limits of 35 mph or less.
• Holiday traffic: Allow extra time for seasonal congestion and follow temporary closures, posted signs, and directions from law enforcement.

Where You Can Drive

Carts picked up at our downtown location must remain within the approved Historic District operating area and the permitted route across the Bridge of Lions to the St. Augustine Lighthouse area.

• Do not continue beyond the approved lighthouse-area route.
• Do not drive on roads with posted speed limits above 35 mph, including 45-mph sections of US 1.
• Carts picked up downtown may not be driven to the beaches or campgrounds.
• Crossing the Vilano Bridge is prohibited.
• Pedestrian-only streets, sidewalks, and closed roads are not permitted driving areas.

Our staff will review the approved operating area before you leave. Holiday traffic controls may affect which routes are available during your rental.

Driving in prohibited areas will result in termination of the rental. The renter is responsible for any resulting towing charges, impound fees, and state fines.

Your cart makes it easy to travel between permitted viewing areas, while walking lets you appreciate the displays up close. Always park legally before stopping for photos or leaving the cart.

Seasonal Availability and Booking

This Nights of Lights rental activity is available only from November 22, 2026 through January 18, 2027.

When booking:

• Select your preferred date.
• Choose a 4-, 6-, or 8-passenger cart.
• Review the available rental periods and prices.
• Confirm your pickup time and return deadline.

Choose a rental period that includes viewing after dark. Follow the pickup and return times listed on your reservation confirmation.

Advance reservations are recommended, especially for weekends and holiday visits.

Delivery for Longer Rentals

Delivery may be available to eligible addresses for rentals of 24 hours or longer. An additional fee covers delivery and pickup.

• Enter your delivery address and select your delivery zone when booking online.
• For standard morning delivery, select a 10:00 a.m. start time. Deliveries take place between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m.
• If you arrive later, your keys will be left in a secure lockbox awaiting your arrival.
• Delivered carts must remain within the approved operating area explained by our staff.

For downtown Nights of Lights sightseeing, choose pickup at our King Street shop. Beach-area delivery is intended for use within the approved local driving area and does not authorize travel into downtown over prohibited routes.

Complete Your Waiver Before Arrival

After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to your rental waiver. Please double-check your email address when making your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

• At least 24 hours before pickup: Reservations canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled pickup time are fully refundable.
• Less than 24 hours before pickup: Cancellations may receive a non-expiring credit toward a future rental.
• Same-day and next-day reservations: These bookings are nonrefundable.
• No-shows: No refunds will be issued.
