What to Expect
Join Fossil Junkies on a small-group airboat adventure to one of America’s most fossil-rich rivers. Cruise upriver aboard a 6-passenger airboat, then wade knee- to waist-deep and dig Ice-Age gravel beds for real prehistoric fossils – from Megalodon shark teeth to mammoth bone fragments. No experience is required; local guides provide instruction, identification and all necessary equipment.
