Join us for a gorgeous trail ride on our 450 acres.

About

We will travel through wooded trails, around a lake, and over the highway on a wildlife bridge. We have historic buildings and a Cracker Pioneer home with heritage livestock. Our gentle and well trained horses are suitable for riders of all levels, especially beginners.

  • We can take up to 6 people at a time.
  • Rider Requirements: Riders must be at least 8 years old and should not exceed 250 lbs.
  • Horses will have Western tack unless English tack is requested in advance.
  • All participants will have to sign their own waiver of liability immediately after booking. The link will be provided in the confirmation Email. Waivers have to be signed by each participant over 18 and only a Parent or Legal guardian can sign for a minor.

All rides need to be booked online. A confirmation Email will be sent immediately with specific arrival, ride, and contact information. Online booking closes 24 hours before a ride is scheduled to start, however, rides can be scheduled with less than 24 hours notice by contacting the Barn Manager directly between 8AM and 8PM.   • Helmets are included with all tours if needed. (Riders under 18 must wear a helmet)
  • Close toed shoes are required
  • No purses or backpacks allowed
  • Arrive 15 minutes before the ride
  • Weight limit: is 250lbs. If an exception is needed contact the Barn Manager to discuss availability.
  • Men may want to consider supportive undergarments.
  • We have bathrooms on site for your convenience.
  • All riders must be 8 years of age. (This in insurance requirement and is not negotiable) If you sign up a child that is under 8 years old we will not allow the rider on the horse and the fee will be forfeited. Waivers must be signed by a LEGAL GUARDIAN only. Grandparents, friends and relatives CAN NOT sign a LEGAL document waiving rights for the minor.
  • Full refunds offered on rides cancelled with at least 24 hours notice or if cancelled by the guide for poor weather conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made by calling or texting Cheryl Carl, the Barn Manager, at 386-365-6000 if needed less than 24 hours otherwise an E-mail will be sufficient.

Calls are welcome to discuss options.

Any ride can be cancelled/rescheduled with a full refund if we are given 24 hours or more notice.

n

If less than 20 hours notice is given: No refunds will be offered. If the ride is rescheduled we will offer 50 % off the next rescheduled ride.

Less than 4 hours or No Show / No Call : No refund and no discount on rescheduling.

n

If a rider shows up and decides not to ride or doesn’t have proper footwear (closed toed shoes) a refund will not offered.

Riders are expected to be at the Museum 15 minutes before the scheduled ride time to allow time for parking, bathrooms, safety equipment, instruction, and saddle/stirrup adjustment.

We can not hold a ride beyond the scheduled start time for people that are late. Being late delays subsequent rides and adds time to staff schedules.

A No Call/No Show and will not be refunded.

If the ride is cancelled by the Barn Manager due to weather a full refund will be offered if rescheduling is not an option. We will not ride during heavy rain or lightning. We will give as much notice as possible if we intend to cancel. Most storms in Florida pass quickly, it’s unlikely we will cancel just because there is rain in the forecast. We keep a close eye on the radar.
