What to Expect

Beneath a sky filled with stars, this unforgettable night boat tour departs from the marina at Flamingo Marina and glides quietly into the wild heart of Everglades National Park. As daylight fades, the mangrove-lined waters come alive with the sounds of the nocturnal Everglades.

The journey begins through the narrow, winding Buttonwood Canal, where calm water reflects the moon and stars between dense mangrove tunnels. Your guide will share stories about the unique ecosystem and the wildlife that thrives after dark.

Emerging from the canal, the boat opens into the quiet expanse of Coot Bay. Here, the horizon stretches wide and the sky grows even brighter with constellations. With minimal light pollution, this area offers some of the best stargazing in South Florida.

The tour then continues deeper into the remote waters of Whitewater Bay, one of the most pristine and untouched regions of the park. Under the Milky Way, you may hear fish breaking the surface, night birds calling through the mangroves, or the quiet movement of wildlife along the shoreline.

This peaceful nighttime excursion offers a rare chance to experience the Everglades in its most magical state—calm, mysterious, and illuminated only by moonlight and stars. Perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone seeking a truly unique adventure in one of America’s most remarkable wilderness areas.
