About

Tampa Bay is home to more than a dozen kinds of sharks. They are here year-round and most plentiful from spring through October. Our shark trips fish St. Pete's home waters, Tampa Bay and the nearby Gulf of Mexico. Sharks follow the bait and the tides, so your captain picks where to fish each day based on conditions and where the fish are feeding.

What sharks might we catch?
Blacktip, bull, bonnethead and spinner sharks, among others, depending on the season, water temperature and bait. No species is ever guaranteed. Protected species, including hammerheads and tiger sharks, stay in the water and are released right away.

Responsible shark fishing
We follow current Florida FWC shark regulations on every trip, including the required circle hooks. Our shark trips are about the fight and the photo, and many sharks go right back.

Who is it for?
No shark experience needed. Our crew provides guidance and assistance throughout the trip, whether you are a first-timer, a group of friends or a visiting angler.

What is included?
Fishing licenses, fishing tackle and bait.

What should I bring?
Polarized sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat, clothes for the weather (plus a light rain jacket if showers are possible), and a phone or camera for your photos.
