1 hour wildlife-filled canal tour with a guide, birds, gators, and history, up to 22 passengers
What to Expect
The tour will start down a narrow canal that is approximately 1/5 of a mile long and easy to view wildlife on both sides of the boat in the water and on the banks up close. Then out to the dead river and follow along it for about 1 mile. While on the tour, we normally see many kinds of birds, including bald eagles at times. Some other common things we see are alligators, turtles and manatees. You will also see cypress trees, oak tree’s and palm trees, in addition to a large variety of plant life. The interpretive guide will point out the different wildlife and vegetation along with information about it, as well tell some of the history of the waterways we will be cruising.
