About
If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, The Dixie Divers Discover Scuba Diving is for you. When you discover scuba diving, you discover adventure and excitement, freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling! While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. First, you'll get a brief orientation and master some basic concepts. After that, you'll have your first underwater adventure (all right, experience then) in our swimming pool. There, you'll learn to use scuba equipment and get accustomed to your new surroundings and gain vital confidence in your own ability.
