What to Expect
Building Confidence Beyond the Classroom
About
Lagoon Girls STEM Lab is about more than science. Throughout the program, students will develop teamwork, leadership and communication skills while discovering STEM careers connected to the lagoon and their community. Students will also work toward a final project, such as a research poster, engineering solution or stewardship proposal, which they will share during a culminating mini-showcase.
Full-term enrollment is recommended because the program builds skills and relationships from week to week.
Scholarships available through registration if you receive SNAP/WIC/TANF/Free Lunch. If you choose this option, please bring verification to show at program sign-in.
High school girls may register (free) to volunteer, assist, and earn volunteer hours.
