A six-week creative art exploration for children ages 6-10
What to Expect
Program Details:
Ages: 6–10 years old
Dates: Saturdays, September 26 – October 24 (and Family & Friends Art Show on Sunday, Nov 1st)
Time: 1:00–3:00 PM (Nov 1st Art Show from 2:00-3:30 PM)
Location: Environmental Learning Center
Cost: $150 per child (includes all six sessions, art supplies, and the final art show)
Drop-Off Program: Parents will drop off participants for each weekly class.
Art of the Ocean is a six-week program for children ages 6-10 that brings together marine science, art, and hands-on learning. Each week, students explore a new ocean theme through creative projects, storytelling, and activities that encourage curiosity, imagination, and discovery. Along the way, they'll develop a deeper appreciation for the ocean and learn simple ways to help care for it.
Throughout the program, children will:
Learn about the ocean, marine life, and ocean conservation
Create a different ocean-inspired art project each week
Experiment with a variety of artistic techniques and materials
Connect creativity with environmental stewardship
Display their artwork during a special community art show

Cancellation Policy
Up to one week before the start of the program, refunds will be made with a $25 cancellation fee. There are no refunds beginning one week prior to the start of the program and no partial refunds for missed classes.
