When it comes to taking a manatee tour, there’s no place better than Crystal River Watersports in Crystal River, Florida.

Get the chance to experience these gentle creatures in the only place where you can legally swim with manatees! Beyond the manatees, our incredible location on Florida’s Nature Coast provides the opportunity for a scenic nature cruise down the Indian River to the Crystal River. There is the opportunity to see a lot of wildlife including dolphins, river otters, bald eagles and many other birds.

Once non-resting manatees are found, you enter the water to snorkel with them. Time permitting you may have the chance to also snorkel in one of our nearby beautiful springs – a beautiful natural area with crystal clear water.

• This is a semi-private trip limited to up to 10 guests per boat
  We can run multiple boats together to accommodate larger parties.

• Early mornings are usually better for visibility in the water and increased chances of manatee interaction before temperatures get warmer, especially during summer months.
  Snorkel equipment, wetsuits, and required “diver down” marker flag are included.

• We provide an experienced in-water guide on every trip to assist you, as the Captain must remain with the vessel as per USCG regulations.

• Our guides bring an underwater camera with photographs available for purchase after the tour on a manatee-shaped 4GB thumb drive so you can bring your experience home with you!

• When to arrive: please arrive at the shop 30 minutes before your scheduled departure.
