Consult Trip

On-the-Water Fishing Consultation Trip (4–6 Hours)

This on-the-water consultation trip is designed for anglers who want personalized, hands-on instruction in a real fishing environment. Captain Gene will join you aboard your boat for an in-depth 4–6 hour session focused on improving your skills, understanding local waters, and learning proven techniques specific to Crystal River and the surrounding Gulf Coast.

During this trip, Captain Gene will work one-on-one (or with your group) to cover topics such as reading tides and structure, selecting tackle and bait, seasonal patterns, boat positioning, and effective fishing strategies. This is a flexible, educational experience tailored entirely to your goals—whether you’re a new angler looking to build confidence or an experienced fisherman wanting local insight.

If you’re looking to gain knowledge, sharpen your approach, and learn directly from a seasoned local captain, this consultation trip offers exceptional value and insight on the water.
