What to Expect
Difficulty level: Medium, no experience necessary, but if you haven't ridden recently, you may be a little sore after an hour of riding!
Enjoy a 50-60 minute guided, walking horseback trail ride that goes out into the beautiful Goethe State Forest and see natural North Florida at its finest. The roughly 3-mile ride has multiple route options through longleaf pine forests, oak hammocks, and palmettos on our friendly and experienced trail horses! No experience is necessary.
Included
We provide riding helmets free of charge, and helmets are required for all riders! You are welcome to bring your own riding helmet if you have one.
Requirements
- Children must be at least 55 inches tall and 10 years old in order to ride. (Parents with smaller children are encouraged to book a pony ride or a carriage ride for the whole family instead!)
- Weight max 250lbs for the safety of horses and riders.
- Health: Good health, free of neck and back injuries, cannot be pregnant (The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends avoiding horseback riding during pregnancy because it can increase the risk of falling or abdominal trauma. Hormonal changes can also loosen ligaments, making it harder to ride and increasing the risk of injury). No Oxygen Tanks
