CDW Insurance

The Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is an optional protection plan that limits the Renter's financial responsibility for covered accidental damage to the rented vehicle during the rental period. CDW is not insurance and does not provide liability coverage.

If You Purchase CDW

If CDW is purchased and all terms of this Rental Agreement are followed, the Renter's maximum financial responsibility for covered accidental physical damage to the rented vehicle is limited to $500 per rental.

This limitation applies only to covered accidental damage and does not apply to any excluded event listed below.

If You Decline CDW

If CDW is declined, the Renter accepts full financial responsibility for any loss of or damage to the rented vehicle occurring during the rental period, regardless of fault, except where prohibited by applicable law.
