Rental Rates

The above boat rental prices are excluding a 6.5% Florida-Tax and US $35 Sea Tow per starting week. Delivery, pick-up, boat instruction and final cleaning fee: US $275, refundable deposit US $2,000.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a dock or lift at my vacation home?

In order to safely dock the rental boat at your vacation home, we need a working boat dock, preferably with a working boat lift.

Without a properly functioning dock, we will not be able to deliver your rental boat to your vacation address.

How does the delivery and return of the rental boat work?

Delivery of the rental boat is by appointment only to SE / SW Cape Coral either to your vacation home. Delivery to other locations may be possible by arrangement and is subject to an additional fee.

Do I get a briefing?

The detailed briefing will take place shortly after the boat is delivered. It will include instructions on how to use the boat, information on the local rules, a trial run if desired, and details about the boat’s features and places to visit. The briefing is required by Florida law.

Do I need a boating license to rent a boat?

In Florida, the minimum age is 25 and some boating experience combined with a valid driver’s license / ID is necessary to rent and operate a motorboat of ten (10) horsepower or greater.

Anyone who was born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, is required to successfully complete an approved boating safety course and obtain a Boating Safety Education Identification Card issued by the FWC or has completed a NASBLA-approved boater safety course or equivalency examination from another state AND a photographic I.D.

Do I have to pay a security deposit?

A security deposit of US $2,000 is required upon delivery of the rental boat by credit card. It is used as an insurance deductible and will be refunded upon return of the boat after the fuel level and condition of the boat have been checked.

Are the boats insured?

Our boats have commercial insurance and Sea Tow membership.

What about local regulations?

As the skipper, you are responsible for obeying local regulations. Especially the speed limits in the indicated zones.

The renter is responsible for any damage not covered by insurance, for example:

• Violation of local laws
• Actions prohibited by Florida law or criminal statutes
• Operating the boat while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
• Operation of the boat by anyone other than the renter

What is your cancellation policy for the boat rentals?

A 25% down payment is due upon confirmation of your rental boat reservation. The full payment is due 10 days prior to the rental date.

In the event of cancellation, the following terms apply:

• More than 30 days prior to the rental date: 75% refund (down payment will be kept).
• Less than 30 days prior to the rental date: 50% refund.
• Less than 10 days prior to the rental date: no refund.

Customers will be offered a free rebooking or a gift card if the reservation is canceled due to unavoidable circumstances (hurricanes, damage to the boat without a possible replacement boat).
