Load Bus at Delaware Express at 6 AM; depart Delaware Express at 6:30 AM.

Welcome to Vacationland!

Make your way to Bath Maine to check in to the Hampton Inn Bath on the waterfront for a 2-night stay. The hotel is located just steps from the Kennebec River waterfront with restaurants and shops in the historic neighborhood of downtown Bath. Onsite Indoor pool & Jacuzzi.

Travel to your included Maine lobster Dinner at a Local Favorite this evening. Alternate options are also offered.

Day #2 - Monday June 28, 2027

Breakfast included at the hotel this morning.

Make your way to Boothbay Harbor for a full day enjoying highlights of Boothbay Harbor during the 65th Annual Windjammer Days Festival. This popular resort town has retained the atmosphere of an old New England village. Fishing craft lie alongside wharves that follow the quaint, winding village streets. Yachtsmen and artists began vacationing here in the early 1900's.
First, you’ll enjoy a Guided Tour at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Here the Maine woods meet the wetlands, and shoreline with a variety of special theme gardens such as the 5-Senses Garden and the children’s garden. Your guided tour is approximately 1 hour, followed by free time to explore the impressive gardens and shoreline paths at your own pace. Enjoy an included box lunch at their onsite Café.

You'll have free time today in the picturesque Boothbay Harbor to explore the local galleries, boutiques and plenty of casual restaurants from which to choose.
This afternoon, you’ll board Cap’n Fish’s boat for a Harbor Cruise. This is the best way to see all the Windjammers who have gathered to celebrate out on the water. They are each a vessel of living history and their entrance into the harbor each June is not only treasured by those who turn out year after year to watch, but they are also revered and respected for keeping an important piece of their past as part of our present. The Windjammers will gather off Cabbage Island to begin their glide into Boothbay Harbor under full sail.

Once available, we will send you a schedule for the 2027 Windjammer Days Festival including all events, crafts, outdoor concerts, art exhibits, an afternoon windjammer parade under full sail, walking parade in town and fireworks this evening. The picturesque village features many activities along the waterfront, including unique shops, art galleries, beautiful waterfront parks and a footbridge to walk across the harbor to “the quiet side”.

Dinner included at a local favorite this evening before returning to the hotel.

Day #3 - Tuesday June 29, 2027

After your included breakfast, make your way north along the coast, exploring villages on your way “downeast”.

Your first stop is for bargain souvenirs at the Maine State Prison Showroom – a landmark gift shop where the inmates make unique Maine gifts.

Continue to Rockland, the lobster capital of Maine for a tour of the Maine Lighthouse Museum, which houses a unique collection of historic artifacts and local lighthouse culture. See the pretty Rockland Harbor Lighthouse guarding the harbor entrance from here as well.

Free time to explore and grab lunch on your own in Camden village with its fleet of windjammers, boutiques and casual restaurants along the waterfront.

After lunch, meet your local guide for a narrated tour of Camden and Rockport. Your tour includes a photo stop atop Mt. Battie in Camden Hills State Park – where the mountains meet the sea (park entrance is included). You’ll see the towns made famous by the movie Peyton Place, a seal named Andre, and poet Edna St. Vincent Millay.

You’ll say good-bye to your guide after leaving the park and continue north to Bar Harbor.

Cross the causeway onto Mt. Desert Island and check in to the Bar Harbor Regency for your two-night stay.

The waterfront resort is located right on Frenchman’s Bay and features a restaurant, lounge, heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi overlooking the water. All rooms, whether ocean or garden view, have a balcony or patio, fridge, coffeemaker and free wifi.

Lobster dinner included this evening.

Day #4 - Wednesday June 30, 2027

Breakfast included at the resort this morning.

Travel to meet your local guide for a narrated, morning tour of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, the first national park founded east of the Mississippi. See the breathtaking beauty that has attracted the elite to this area for years, including 9 mountains over 1000 feet high, stone bridges, lakes, ponds trail and carriage roads. The views from the top of Cadillac Mountain are unparalleled. You will travel the entire Park Loop Road with stops at Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole on Ocean Drive and Sieur De Mont Springs Wild Gardens of Acadia.

Then enjoy free time in Bar Harbor to explore the shops, boutiques and have lunch on your own with numerous restaurants to choose from along the waterfront.

Continue your travels to Freeport Village for free time to explore the world-famous L.L. Bean flagship store and a myriad of outlet shops.

Travel to Ogunquit to check into the Meadowmere Resort for the night. Enjoy a welcome reception upon arrival at your south coast Maine resort. Hotel features an indoor pool, jacuzzi and inhouse movie theater.

Dinner included at a local favorite this evening.

Day #5 - Thursday July 1, 2027

Enjoy an included breakfast this morning.

Stop for a photo of Maine's southernmost lighthouse, the Nubble Light in Cape Neddick near York Beach. From Nubble Light you will also spot the infamous Boon Island Lighthouse, located just off shore.

Make your way home filled with your Maine Seacoast & Boothbay Harbor Windjammer Days!
