About

• This tour is a unique salt marsh tour where we will explore the back bays of Assateague Island National Park as we search for wildlife including the famous Assateague Island wild horses.
  Our certified kayak guides give a short instructional session before the tour and also supply all of the safety gear. We use single and tandem top-of-the-line recreational kayaks. These boats are stable, comfortable, and user-friendly. (Touring and sit-on-top kayaks are also available upon request.)

-We meet at the launch site inside the National Seashore. There is a $25 fee to enter the national park.

• Paddling time on this tour is 1.5 - 2 hours.

• We launch for this tour at different spots depending on the time of year.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day:

Once you go through the entrance fee booth, you drive about .25 miles and make a right on Bayside Drive.

Before Memorial Day and after Labor Day:

Once you go through the entrance fee booth, you drive about .75 miles and make a right on Old Ferry Landing. Drive to the end of the road and look for a Coastal Kayak van with a trailer.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to get fit in PFDs.
