Big Bore Valdor Snowmobile Tour

Our fan favorite Big Bore Tour is reimagined with a new route for 2027, exploring the western region of Quebec like never before. Starting out of Maniwaki, north of Montreal, prepare to ride the most remote trails that Quebec has to offer, where each day we venture to distant destinations that are often the only accommodations available. Pass through Val D’Or, the “Valley of Gold,” and revel in the opportunity to travel along unpopulated routes as every mile forward is a new adventure. Designed as an authentic experience for seasoned riders, this tour saddlebags 200-300 miles each day to comfortable outfitter lodging each night. For qualified snowmobilers who are eager to accomplish a long-distance trip where driver and machine are tested, look no further for big miles, smooth trails, and spirited riding.

Launch north around the western portion of the Baskatong Reservoir on day one, pass through isolated towns such as Clova with a population of 20 on day two, and on day three you’ve made it to the highly regarded trail that veers west of Lebel-Sur-Quevillon for some fast-paced action. Day four we start south and west towards Ontario where trails are unpopulated, swift and smooth. You’ll be welcomed to a secluded off-grid outfitter on day five as they open for the winter to specifically host snowmobilers. With a long run between fuel stops on day six (117 miles), carrying gas on the sleds will add to the sense of adventure and accomplishment. The gloating is earned as you circle back to your starting destination and close the loop on this 1400+ mile trip! With a little flexibility, well-prepared sleds, and a whole lot of thrill, the marathon will be complete.
