What to Expect

Create a stylish leather messenger bag featuring a distinctive foldover design and wrap-style closure. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of leather bag construction while creating a durable, functional bag designed for everyday use.

Students will learn leather cutting, fold construction, hardware installation, strap attachment, edge finishing, and final assembly. No previous leatherworking experience is required.

This workshop is taught by a Rocky Mountain Folk School Certified Instructor who completed our Instructor Development Program under the mentorship of a master leatherworker. Your participation helps support the next generation of skilled craft instructors.
