What to Expect

Join a guided elk rut tour in Rocky Mountain National Park timed for sunrise and sunset, when elk mating activity is most active. Guides lead you to known hotspots where large herds and bugling bulls congregate, explaining elk migratory and mating habits as well as facts about other park wildlife. Tours run around three hours and use retractable-top vans or small hybrid-electric retractable-top Jeep Wranglers to adapt to changing weather while providing optics, snacks, and beverages for a comfortable, educational experience.
