Prerequisite: In order to take this class, the participant needs to have taken BOTH of these two classes:

  • Modern Defensive Rifle MDR201
  • Drawing From a Holster HG201

Description

This class is designed for advanced shooters who want to work on honing in on their already sharp skills.

After a quick recap of the fundamentals, we will go over your current shot grouping and stance so the instructor can help perfect your form.

During this class, we get into the cerebral aspects of shooting including target identification and how to maintain control of the firearm while using it in a potentially real-life situation.

This class will help improve your muscle memory to operate your AR in many scenarios. We will work on proper reloading for both your AR and handgun - you will be shooting with your AR and a backup pistol. We will work on the ability to do mag changes with both types of magazines.

We will end with a stress drill where students will move and shoot at multiple engagements.

This class will help you practice defensively shooting your AR-15 platform. Offered on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
