Experience hands-on learning with carefully crafted patterns designed to guide you through shapes, from the simplest to the most intricate.
Walk away with written materials summarizing class content and an extra practice template for honing your skills at home.
What You Will Learn
In addition to learning how to create a template, students will cover all aspects of glass cutting, including the purpose of and how to use the various hand tools. They will also cover the fundamentals of glass cutting, the cutting order of operations, and the different removal methods, along with tips, tricks, best practices, and so much more.
Students will put their knowledge to practice cutter-in-hand using a pattern designed to force encounters with shapes ranging from the most common to the most difficult.
Students will practice with clear glass initially and later try pieces in color and texture to understand the increased difficulty with different types of glass.
Students walk away with a 10-page guide covering class materials and an extra practice template to continue their practice at home. Additional practice is required to master glass cutting!
