Private Hiking Light
Ages 8+ • 1-2 Hours
What to Expect
This is a Private version of our Hiking Light tour. The title explains it all. “Hiking Light” has some of the same sense of adventure and connection to the park on two feet, but with fewer steps on your pedometer. This short Nature Walk in Rocky Mountain National Park will allow you to explore 1-1.5 miles of trail in the park while taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of nature around you. Your experienced Trip Leader will share the natural and human history around you as you make your short journey into the park on two feet. After the nature walk, you can go explore the mountain town of Estes Park on your own. Estes Park began as a cattle ranching community, but soon expanded into a resort community serving the 4.3 million visitors that enter Rocky Mountain National Park every year. Duration: 1-2 hours. Start times at 8am and 1pm
We look forward to taking you to Rocky Mountain National Park. Please note that due to a new U.S. Department of the Interior rule the Park Service may ask for proof of residency. If you are not a U.S. resident they may charge you $100 extra per non-resident entering the park. This is not included in our tour fees. This will be a required payment from you at the time of entering the park.
If you have any questions or concerns about this rule, please reach out to us, we can help you understand. This is not our company policy, this is a policy of the current U.S. government.
