What to Expect

On this ride we will roll along the plains. Empty, wide roads. Some solid rollers. Some flats. Straightaways. We’ll be able to ride hours on end without stopping at a red light or a stop sign. Due to the thin air, expect some FAST speeds!

Rolling Plains

Ride the plains surrounding Boulder, but don’t be fooled…there are plenty of rollers that will sting your legs! Be prepared for fast speeds in the thin air, perfect road surface, and wide open roads. Enjoy wide open spaces and long rolling plains on this steady ride. You will pass a lot of farm land and may even be honored to get the encouraging support of a cow’s moo or two! This ride is up to three hours in length and less than 2,000 feet of elevation gain. The nature of this ride is a consistent effort that will leave you ready for the best burrito Boulder can serve up after!
