What to Expect

CSR’s Beginner Guided Backcountry Experiences are designed for riders who are new to off-trail powder riding and want to build skills in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Our professional guides will teach you the fundamentals of backcountry sledding—covering balance, throttle control, sidehilling, and powder turns—while keeping the focus on confidence, safety, and fun.

This program is ideal for riders with little or no off-trail experience who want to progress beyond trail riding and discover the excitement of backcountry sledding.

Your guided experience includes avalanche safety gear, radios, damage coverage, and your choice of a brand-new Polaris mountain sled. Shuttle service to and from the trailhead is available.

nCancellations must be made at least 10 days prior to your reservation date to receive a full refund.
nCancellations made within 10 days of the reservation are non-refundable.
nWe offer Cancellation Insurance for 10% of your reservation total. This insurance must be added prior to the 10-day cutoff and allows you to cancel at any time for a 100% refund, with Colorado Sled Rentals retaining the 10% insurance fee.
nIf Cancellation Insurance is not selected, any cancellations made within 10 days of your reservation will be converted into a credit for future use — no refunds will be issued.
