What to Expect

While the South Platte describes the region of granite domes along the South Platte river basin for climbers it's a paradise of golden slabs and cracks for miles.

Choose between these classic climbs
- Center Route: the name does little to tell you what you're in for. If your lungs don't burst on the approach you'll be treated to 3 solid pitches of pure 5.9 hand crack joy before a quick rappel back to the ground.
- Wunsch's Dihedral: if you're not a near 5.12 crack climber then don't even bother with the direct start. This climb is steep and varied. If you succeed you also get to summit the pinnacle.
