What to Expect

High alpine rock climbing makes this a great area to get some altitude, cool weather, and see if you have what it takes before getting higher into the mountains.

Choose between these classic climbs
- Eureka Pillar (5.7): an enjoyable 5 pitch climb well above the valley floor with enjoyable moves in rock that keeps you on your toes.
- Goldrush (5.9): a slightly shorter route of higher difficulty deeper in the valley gives it an isolated feel as you're high above the off-road vehicles rumbling into the high country.

  • Group climbing equipment (ropes, carabiners, etc).
  • Individual climbing equipment (harness, helmet, climbing shoes, and belay devices).
