What to Expect

As well as it’s known as a climbing destination the Little Switzerland area on the Pika Glacier is also a great place for skiing and snowboarding. Forking off the larger Kahiltna this area is only accessible by plane. With the fickle Alaskan weather that can produce legendary storms you have about an equal chance of getting shutdown as getting the best powder runs of your entire life in this 7 day trip.
