Denver/Golden Full Day Climb
Ages 8+ • Up to 12 People • 8 Hours
What to Expect
As the largest metropolitan area in Colorado there is a lot of climbing within a short distance in the Golden area but also to the south as well.
Choose from these amazing locations
- Clear Creek Canyon: running along Clear Creek between Golden and Idaho Springs there is great sport climbing and a few locations with some great multpitch routes. In the winter there's even ice climbing.
- North Table Mountain: this south facing basalt area overlooks the Denver skyline and can be a great spot for rock climbing in colder weather.
- Castlewood Canyon: to the south closer to Castle Rock this state park features a variety of single pitch climbs shaded by trees. A great beginner spot a variety of pebble pinching climbs.
- South Platte: more of a region than one area there are a variety of climbing spots. Spreading from Woodland Park to Conifer one of the slab or crack climbing walls will fit your needs.
