Depending on conditions and your goals, you might ride mellow tree lines, carve fresh turns through open meadows, or travel along alpine ridgelines toward a snow-covered summit.

Our professionally trained guides carefully scout conditions, evaluate avalanche hazards, and manage risks that aren’t always obvious to the untrained eye. New to splitboarding or backcountry travel? No problem. If you’re comfortable riding advanced inbounds terrain—like Vail’s Back Bowls—you’re ready to step into the backcountry with the right guidance.
