What to Expect
Explore Boulder on a self-paced, 7-mile loop starting from the Limelight Hotel on the edge of the CU campus, that highlights the city’s outdoor beauty, history and ghost stories while you and your group answer trivia at designated stops. You’ll receive a Google map, instructions and trivia questions to guide you along scenic paved bike paths and quiet roads. Play competitively or cooperatively with friends, family or coworkers for the highest score.
Self-Guided tours are $30 per group plus tax.

These tours are designed for adults who are comfortable riding a bicycle. Most of this route is flat except for one substantial hill connecting downtown with the university campus. Physical fitness requirement is low to moderate, depending if you rent an ebike or standard bike. There are plenty of great spots along the way to rest on a bench or grab a drink or a bite.
However, please drink extra water and take food/drink with electrolytes and protein before and during your ride. Boulder is at an elevation of 5400 feet, and many visitors struggle with the high altitude. It is best to allow at least 24 hours of rest at high altitude once you arrive, before embarking on any physical activity or consumption of alcohol.
