What to Expect
This scenic trip on the Lower Gunnison will take you through 8 miles of class I/II rapids. Along the way, there are great opportunities for wildlife viewing and places to stop to swim. There will also be an opportunity to hike to the Eagle Rock Shelter to view ancient Petroglyphs. This trip is great for families or youth groups. Depending on the water level or preference, this trip can be done on either rafts or kayaks.
