What to Expect
Experience the beauty of the Lower Gunnison River on this immersive 2-day, 20-mile journey through the stunning Dominguez–Escalante Canyon. This scenic stretch of Class I–II water offers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, winding through towering canyon walls, remote desert landscapes, and some of the most unique terrain on Colorado’s Western Slope.
This is a fully supported overnight trip, giving you the freedom to choose your experience. Paddle your own inflatable kayak for a more hands-on adventure, or relax in a raft and take it all in. Our guides handle the logistics while you focus on enjoying the river.
Days are spent floating mellow rapids, spotting wildlife, swimming, and soaking in the quiet beauty of the canyon. In the evening, we set up camp along the river where you’ll enjoy a freshly prepared meal under the stars. There’s also the option to explore further with a scenic side hike up Big Dominguez Canyon from camp.
All meals, water, gear, and transportation are included.Just show up ready for an unforgettable overnight river experience!
